I am an Adjunct Professor for California State University Northridge in Los Angeles and The Wright Institute in Berkeley. Previously, I served 11 years as core faculty in the Couple and Family Therapy Graduate Programs at Alliant International University in Los Angeles. I also maintain a practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA MFC42723), specializing in working with couples.
Research and Publications
My research has appeared in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy, American Journal of Family Therapy, and elsewhere.
I have authored books including Basics of California Law for LMFTs, LPCCs, and LCSWs, Saving Psychotherapy, and these exam prep tools for the California Law & Ethics Exams for family therapists, clinical social workers, and clinical counselors.
I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of the American Counseling Association.
I am an avid runner and triathlete, having now completed six Ironman triathlons and more than 40 marathons. When I'm not at work, I can often be found on the bike paths and running trails of Southern California.
